Awakening the Heart of God`s Own Country

“Awakening the Heart” - the seat of compassion and love unconditional - the place where the divine flame resides. 

Many mystics have spoken about a secret chamber within the heart where this divine 3-fold flame is hidden. A spiritual aspirant is always in pursuit of it’s light. It is  often compared to the Musk deer  that searches for the  fragrance of the musk, while carrying the essence in it’s navel all the while. Similarly the seekers of the divine light journey far in search only to return to themselves.

God`s own country in the past months have seen a massive downpour twined with greed and selfishness of a few. Our leaders make us believe there is scarcity, making us fearful - that if we share we will have nothing for ourselves!  

One of the fundamental laws of the universe is “It is in giving that we receive”.

A disaster this size has caused a forced awakening of the heart chakra.

This is not just an awakening for the malayalee.

The awakening is at many levels in different parts of the world.

There are two sentiments I would like to write about…

One of an atheist who says, “See, there is no God. If there is, he causes suffering” ….A child who has lost a mother at a young age; a parent who has lost a child; a person who is feeling like the victim of love that did not seem to last… And then there are intellectuals who are most likely to ask, “Why?” 

The ‘Other’, upon hearing of such a need rushes to aid those far more troubled than her….Usually a child who lost his mother at a young age; a parent who lost their child; a victim….. And even the intellectuals…… They put aside that which haunts them by understanding the very important principle: “In comforting you are comforted”.

There isn't many kinds of us…. We feel and experience the same pains and joys…. What we do with what we have is what makes all the difference. So mind you, the awakening happens to both. As although an atheist may not believe in God, she believes she has the power to reach out, help and make a change. For when the heart awakens, there is no more separation…. there is no more caste and creed. A deep sentiment arises - that which allows you to look at another and see them for who they truly are.  

So, whats happened?

The disaster has accelerated the awakening of the heart chakra. For many have remained in the energy level of the lower chakras, but this situation acts as a stimulator. And when they experience their full potential of unconditional love…. there is no unknowing it …..

In the process of the awakening of a collective consciousness, there is a need for a collective purging - or in this case - a baptism.
